This was a social event aimed on ladies getting together to knit or crochet squares for the Lyttelton Friends Who Care who use the squares to make blankets for Future Families. 27 ladies attended. A fun-filled afternoon was had with a quiz and prizes. The ladies donated knitted and crocheted squares, material, unfinished items, blankets and 11.8 kg of yarn. In this series called “Rands and Sense for Troubled Times”, we’re exploring God’s wisdom on money. We’ll discover a wisdom which empowers us to make a life for ourselves, instead of just making a living. As we explore biblical principles for the use of our money, we’ll be empowered to live lives of freedom and joy. |
