Small Groups

Life change through meaningful relationships

Why join a Small Group?

Small Groups are not a programme of the church – they ARE the church. They are here to help you become a more deeply committed Christian as you participate together in essential practices of Christian life.

They help us to:

  • Connect to the Body
  • Build Relationships
  • Understand the Bible
  • Practice unselfishness
  • Disciple with others
  • Empower our prayer and worship life

Details About These Groups:

  • Initial commitment is 6 weeks through our Lenten series, with the possibility to
    continue meeting afterwards
  • Some groups are only online, others meet in person
  • All groups will be hosted online until COVID levels improve

How You Can Have a Great Experience:

Be Committed   –   Be Present   –   Be Authentic

Worship

Volunteer to serve

Our Worship Services on Sundays are integral to the ministry of West View, giving an opportunity for people to experience meaningful encounters with God that lead to real life change and a deep sense of community.

Many people help prepare for the service during the week as well as serving on Sundays to ensure the smooth running of services.

During the week teams of volunteers prepare all the details from folding bulletins and preparing the multimedia slides to arranging the flowers that beautify the sanctuary. Before the service the communion is prepared and ushers welcome visitors into a place of belonging. Technical teams ensure that the multimedia, sound and lighting are optimal while worship bands and scripture readers take part in the service.

Lastly a team of volunteers serve tea after the service and assist with the cleaning up. Training and support is provided for all volunteers. Please contact Nicola to discuss where and how God is calling you to use your talents.
