The knitalong took place on Saturday afternoon 22 May 2021. This was a social event aimed on ladies getting together to knit or crochet squares for the Lyttelton Friends Who Care who use the squares to make blankets for Future Families. 27 ladies attended. A fun-filled afternoon was had with a quiz and prizes. The ladies donated knitted and crocheted squares, material, unfinished items, blankets and 11.8 kg of yarn. Tea was served and each lady received a small gift packet of biscuits and a porcelain cross which they can use as a bookmark.

As you will see from the photos the Covid protocols were observed and fun was had by all.
