Welcome to Worship!

If you are joining us for the first time today, please know that you are amongst friends and we are so GLAD that you are here. We hope that you will be blessed by your time worshipping with us as much as your presence is a blessing to us. After the service a society steward will be available to welcome you and share some information about West View at the welcome table in the foyer.

We are currently studying God’s Word through our sermon series titled “Mark’s Jesus: My Jesus ”. In this sermon series we are learning a way of life together as disciples, students, learners, or apprentices of Jesus. Together we are discovering Jesus and trying to figure out what following him might look like in our lives. The topic for today is “Who is this?” this is a question asked by the disciples in Mark 4 after Jesus reveals to them his authority over nature, particularly over the storm.

So the challenge for all of us this week is to ask ourselves throughout the next few days and hopefully we might continue to ask the question for as much as we live, who is Jesus to me? If Jesus is Lord how do I acknowledge his Lordship in my life? Does the way I live my life witness to the fact that Jesus is my Lord?
