The Samaritan Women: Thirsty?

August 29, 2021

John 4:3-26, 28-30, 39-42 (The Message)

The lesson we learn about Jesus is that Jesus will stop at NOTHING to satisfy the deep longings of our souls. John 4:4 isn’t strictly true. Jesus could have taken another route. But Jesus will not be diverted by racial division, fear, convention, to reach this woman.

All are invites to listen – regardless of gender – to find their own thirst in the Samaritan woman’s story today.
