Peter and the uncertainty of FORGIVENESS

February 28, 2021

The act of forgiving someone else for something they have done may feel like a private matter in a private relationship between two individuals, but in Jesus’s view it is a sacred act with cosmic implications. According to Jesus, Forgiveness is full participation in the activity of God to restore all creation back to its original health, wholeness, and a state of goodness. Whenever you forgive, you participate in God’s greatest on going project: The restoration of the whole world back to the way it was originally intended.
