This Sunday marks the start of our new 12 week preaching series in which we explore gospel-writer Matthew’s compilation album of Jesus’ greatest teachings, a.k.a. The Sermon on the Mount. We will discover how following Jesus impacts our relationships, our feelings, our actions and our attitudes. To join a small group for this study, please contact

FUN-RAISER @ Groenkloof Nature Reserve On Saturday 16th July
5k, 8k or 10k walk starting anytime between 7am and 9am. Ticket includes entrance; tea/coffee & rusk OR soup AND Prego Roll. Adults R135; Pensioners R115; Scholars R90.  Additional Food and Snacks will be on sale:   Tea/coffee and rusks R20; Soup R20 per cup; Prego rolls R50; 2 Sausage hot dogs R25; 1 Sausage hot dog R20; Large Vetkoek with mince R45.  MEN@WORK Evening on Thursday 23 June 18h15 for 19h00
Our guest speaker on the evening is Jannie Rossouw, Professor at the Wits Business School, guest speaker on TV and Radio on economic and fiscal matters, a member of the Fiscal Cliff Research Group, speaker to Parliamentary portfolio committees and a rated National Research Foundation researcher. Prof Rossouw will talk with us about the South African economy.
All men are invited to attend the event to understand more about our economy, and how we as Christians can respond to the challenges we face.

May Tithe Month
Thank you for rising to May’s tithe month challenge. May tithes and offerings totalled R540 125, R67 625 (14%) above budget. Our year-to-date shortfall has reduced to R77 700.

EWA will be selling Soup & Rolls on the 12th of June For R20

Church Express
Join us at Church Express on 12 June as we explore the challenges surrounding suicide. If you’ve lost a loved one to suicide, if you’re supporting someone who is contemplating suicide, or if suicidal ideation is something that you’re struggling with, join us as we explore how we can find God’s love in the midst of our despair. Our guest panelists are Clinical Psychologist Naledi Mqhayi  and Connexional Secretary of MCYU Ayanda Xaba. That’s 18h00 on Sunday 12 June.

 Accommodation Connexional Meetings 2022
West View will be hosting the Women’s Auxiliary Connexional meetings from the 14th -19th September 2022.
