NEW SERIES – SAVIOUR

The Cross is the central symbol of our faith. But what did Jesus do to save us from our sins? Why was the cross necessary, and what does it mean for us today? This Lent, we will be exploring these crucial questions together as we seek to place the cross of Christ at the centre of our faith. Bring your questions and doubts and let us reason together on this topic.

LENTEN GROUPS

Lent is an excellent opportunity to try a group for the first time or to rejoin a group if you have not been in one for some time. We will be going through the weekly study material on the series Saviour during these next few weeks. We want to encourage you to join a group and experience a Lenten journey like no other during this Lent. Connect with james@westview.org.za for more info.

CHURCH EXPRESS

Join us for Church Express next Sunday, March 13, at 6pm as we address the topic of Cancel Culture. We want to especially invite our teens and young adults to join us on this hot topic. Come along and join us for a time of great community and engaging worship.

EVENING WOMANS AUXILIARY

The Evening Women’s Auxiliary are meeting in the Mark hall on Wednesday 9 March 2022 at 18:45 for 19:00 for their monthly meeting.  All ladies of the congregation are most welcome to attend.  For more information, contact Penny Wellington 0828247692 or Jackie Nel 0834126824.

A WORD FROM  M@W

The Men@Work would like to thank all the men who attended our annual breakfast.  We would like to thank guest speaker Johan Greef for contributing to our breakfast. It was a brilliant day, and even though it rained a little, it couldn’t have been better.

KHULUMA OUTREACH

As part of our 40-day campaign, we as a church would like to come together and show support and love this season to our Khuluma mission; which is doing a special collection drive for victims of gender-based violence. You can donate one item or five or more! Every bit helps! Please grab a shopping list in the foyer on Sunday or download a list here for on your mobile to have with you. Drop off your donations at the marked collection bins at the front of the sanctuary. Download here
