NEW SERIES – RESILIENT FAITH

We are starting a brand new two week series called Resilient Faith in February. We have Guest preachers Wesley Olivier and Alex van Rooi. This series will look at tools that we need to endure through challenging times. 

Evening Women’s Auxiliary Pudding sale

The EWA invites everyone to support their pudding fundraiser on the 27th of February. 
Orders can be placed online and will then be available for collection between 9h00 and 10h00 and then again from 11h00 to 11h30.  
Pudding on sale is: 
Jelly and Custard – R10
Malva or ginger pudding and custard R15. 

Foundation

A reminder to all new members who have joined West View since November last year that Foundation, our ONLINE new member’s course, is starting this Tuesday, 22 Feb from 8-9pm on Zoom. Get in touch with the church office to confirm that you will be attending and to send in your completed New Member form so that we have the correct details for sending the meeting link.

Small Groups

The Lenten season is JUST around the corner, and we are going to be running a 6-week series called Saviour. We currently need more Small Group Hosts that can help facilitate a group for over the 6-week journey, this can be done at your home or even as an online group. There will be a brief training session for all new group hosts, so please DON’T BE SHY!

Griefshare

After visitors have gone and phone calls have stopped, we support the loved ones left behind. Grief Share is a video-based support group for those who have experienced grief. Thousands around the world have experienced it to be a journey that offers healing and hope. All are welcome.

The next journey will start on the 23rd of February. To register for the next session please contact Sally Wessels (email sally.sf.wessels@gmail.com ) or Lael@westview.org.za at the church office.

 Confirmation

Registration for confirmation has started. We will be having a Parents Info evening on the 3rd of March and Confirmation will then kick off on the 6th of March 2022. Be sure to pick up your child’s registration form at church from this Sunday. Forms are also available at Rooted and online to download, Contact charl@westview.org.za for more info.
