e-Letter
February 3, 2022
At Sunday’s Annual Society Meeting, Circuit Steward Mandu Mamatela shared with you details of who will be replacing me at West View in December 2022. Damien O’Grady is 29. He worked as the Youth Pastor at Strand Methodist Church prior to entering the ministry and has, since graduating from Seth Mokitimi Methodist Seminary 2 years ago, been stationed at the Brentwood Park Methodist Church in the Kroonstad Circuit. Damien is on track to be ordained this September, and Siphiwe will take over the reins as Senior Minister later this year. Damien’s strengths are preaching, teaching and pastoral care, and he enjoys connecting Scripture and its relevance for everyday life, especially for youth and young adults. Damien will visit and preach at West View sometime between now and the end of the year, and we look forward to welcoming and meeting him.

I invite each of you to prayerfully consider the level at which God is calling you to give in 2022. Whether you are new to the pledge system or wish to update your pledge, please make your pledge at this link (https://www.westview.org.za/giving-pledge-form/).
