As the Gauteng COVID-19 infection rate continues to plummet and more and more members become fully vaccinated, it has been wonderful to see some of you back at in-person worship and to catch up on life. I am reminded of Psalm 122:1: “I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.”
Our 10h00 service this Sunday 22 August is a Community Worship Service. Kids and teens will join with adults for an all-age worship experience. Tea and Coffee will be served after the 8h00 and 10h00 services, and the W.A. will be selling dessert. Choose between Malva or Ginger pudding (R15), or Jelly (R10). Click here to preorder today, then pay and collect on Sunday to make sure you don’t miss out.
The past 18 months have highlighted the importance of belonging to a Small Group. Those in our community who are part of small groups have experienced the friendship and spiritual support that flows from this expression of community. If you’d like to dip your toe into the waters of small group membership for our 6 week preaching series starting 5 September, click here. Groups meet either online or in-person throughout the week.
Join us Sunday evening for Church Express, our new monthly event, starting 29 August @18h00. This will be an interactive gathering for worshipping God and exploring relevant topics. The first topic will be “Patriarchy” and Godly Play will be offered at the same time for the children.
Church staff return onsite from Monday 23 August. The church office is open Monday – Friday 8h00 – 15h30.
Grace and Peace
