Dear West View family:
Welcome to worship, especially to those who are back after a break during the
government school holidays. If this is your first time at West View, know that
you are among friends.
Today is the final Sunday of our study of Philippians. I have learnt much about this
inspiring book by preaching through it, and have been challenged in places where
I have needed to be. I trust that you have found the series similarly helpful.
Here’s a roadmap for August:
Next Sunday, we’re focusing on the most important way in which we grow in faith: prayer
Sunday 9th is National Women’s Day, and the Rev Charmaine Morgan, General Secretary of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa, is the guest preacher
at the 9h45 W.A. service
At all three services on Sunday 16th August, Rev Paul Cameron will be leading
a healing and prayer service. Paul has a passion for destigmatising mental health, and in prayers for healing
Sunday 23rd August marks the start of 40 Days of Love. This series, a follow up
to 40 Days of Purpose and 40 Days of Community, is going to deepen your love for God and for others. We wish every worshipper at West View to join
us in this journey by signing up to be part of a 6-week small group that will make this journey together.
Margot will assist you to find a group that fits your needs
Grateful to be part of this community of faith, hope and love
