ONE of a Kind

Dealing with the issue of self-esteem
Duration:39 mins 3 secs

Greetings West View

Welcome to worship. May we all encounter the risen and ascended Jesus Christ today, and may that encounter fill us with faith, hope and love. If you are a visitor, know that you are among friends.

We do have one visitor among us, who will very quickly become family to us. Victor Greene is a Divinity student at Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina. As part of his training for ministry, Victor will spend two months doing life and ministry with us. This is the third year that we have hosted a ‘Dukie’, the previous students being Will and Amanda Hasley, and Aaron and Caitlin Small. Victor is boarding with Jos and Zuko during his time with us, and I know that he will experience true West View warmth and hospitality.

I also know that we will be blessed by his presence and ministry.

As part of this evening’s “ONE” sermon series, we’re focusing on

“ONE-of-a-kind”. We’re asking what difference it makes, that YOU are

created uniquely, in love, and in the image of God?  Don’t miss it!

With warm Christian love
